So that's how motors work? Explanation and guided reading - I haven't found a reading yet, but i wanted to do like a guided discussion of what the students found in the activity the day before to see if we could work it out together, then i wanted to to give them a short reading on motors to help solidify it. I would create some sort of graphic to give them a purpose in reading.
Independent lab - i like the idea of having students create there own lab in groups. I was going to give them the option of testing the strength of an electromagnet or trying to change the speed that the motor spins. I would want them to do something similar to how you are having them do the science fair (procedures and the like) just with much less to follow. I would want them each to write a conclusion, and perhaps each person do a section so that the group can hand in a modified formal lab, to get the idea in their head for future years without overwhelming them. I was thinking this would take 2 or 3 days of class.
Electrical generation - I'm not sure how just yet but i would like to take a day to talk about electric generation and how it is the opposite of the motor.
Review day - I was thinking that i would do either Jeopardy or a Bingo game to review
Test - and lab reports would be due this day.

At this point in time i have fulfilled the required number of lesons for the assighnment and need to shift my focus to other academic areas, this lessons will be fully developed before teaching, but these are the basic ideas of them.
